In 2010, after a whirlwind scoping trip to Mexico, the dastardly duo burst onto the Melbourne restaurant scene with a sweet little Mexican joint on Swan Street. And ever since, they've satisfied the cravings of hundreds of thousands of hungry punters.

Mouth-watering and highly addictive, they'll have you coming back again and again. Or maybe that’s just the margs.
In Mexico, a ‘fonda’ is a home that a family opens up to their local community as an unofficial restaurant, a relaxed place where folks can come get a feed in good company. This idea really resonated with founders Tim & Dave, so much so that it kinda inspired their whole vibe, name and business ethos.
