The Gardens' Flora Explorer tours depart from the Visitor Centre at 11.30 am on weekends and public holidays only.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a 45-minute guided journey and discover some of the Australian National Botanic Gardens' highlights. This is your chance to see the Gardens like you may have never seen them before.

Tickets can be purchased from the Botanical Bookshop - located inside the Visitor Centre.

Large gardens showcasing many plant species. However, even though it is autumn large sections of the gardens looked as though they could do with some care. It was good to have a walk around though.

“parking costs are not worth the very average gardens”

Very disappointing. Car parking is a fortune, so the gardens are not free at all. Just because they do not charge a specific entry fee, you cannot see the gardens unless you pay the horrific parking...
