Parliament House tour guide explains the Senate chamber to visitors while an Auslan guide interprets

Overview

To cater to visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing, we're running our Best of Parliament House Tours with an Auslan interpreter.

The interpreter will accompany an expert tour guide who will lead you through the must-see highlights of Parliament House.

You will learn about the towering flag mast, see the Great Hall Tapestry and enjoy Parliament House's striking architecture. Step inside the Chambers of the Senate and House of Representatives and delve into the rich history of Australian democracy.

The free Best of Parliament House Auslan tours will run every second month. In 2025 the tour will run in June, August, October and December.
